The new year is coming up and I'm feeling a little thoughtful. It's been a crazy year. I get dragged all the way across the country in some God-forsaken car for a WEEK, to land where I have no friends and have no idea where I am. I got over it in about 2.2 seconds though because the first day I woke up I got to go to the beach. Hello! I live near the beach! That's crazy!
Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures that best describe 2008 to me. Only a few (it's late), and maybe I'll find some others. The one of the old couple was just too cool - we saw them today on our walk. They really wanted to pat me but they couldn't bend down and I wasn't about to hang around until they found a way down to my level. I had squirrels to catch...
So, to sum it all up - a really horrible surprise, even tougher goodbyes, the longest trip of my LIFE, hooray we made it!, major celebrations (don't worry, I didn't taste it...mom won't let me), half way to China, yep - that's my street (eat that Hoboken!), a whole lotta love, and that really cute old couple.
